Nearest Locksmith To Me Croydon

croydon lock key broken

I can’t help but kick off this little guide to the busy South London Borough of Croydon with mentioning the rather nice picture (for a locksmith) of a sturdy Union lock that as you can see has the bottom half of a key stuck in it! Well that was a problem for the owner who called me out and I was able to remove the key stub and re-cut a new one. Problem solved – by a locksmith near me Croydon none the less!

Well back to the cultural stuff now and Croydon is a big town often called the windy city by locals as it has quite few high buildings that create venomous drafts around the place that will take your hat off if you aren’t careful and happen to be wearing one of course.

Home to the Whitgift Shopping Centre Croydon also has an outdoor market which is very lively and a fair selection of eateries, pubs and bars.

Long desiring City status due to its size it hasn’t much hope as it’s too close to London, has no cathedral and no university but what do I know. What it does have is a very large commuter population that uses the excellent train links to head up to London via Victoria or London Bridge. The tram comes through Wimbledon as it shuttles back and forth between Bromley and Wimbledon.

Croydon is a diverse place and there is a distinct difference between the tired North End heading into Thornton Heath or Waddon and the more lively South Croydon on its way to the outer suburbs.

Still keys and locks get lost, broken and otherwise “misconfigurated” at both ends and in the middle so I can often be seen plying my trade around this thriving town/city whatever you call it whenever someone searches for nearest locksmith to me Croydon. Croydon does also have the Fairfield Halls where many a Christmas Panto is shown.

As to famous people Croydon lays claim to quite a few that attended the BRIT school like Tom Holland the actor who will likely not need any locksmithing services as he can get back in using his spidey powers, but it’s good to know that Kate Moss the model that everyone knows of was born in Croydon and indeed so was Stormzy the well known and very current rapper. However the celebrity I always hoped had a locksmithing problem but never did was Edward Woodward who was of course the original Equalizer no less. Thankfully the Equalizer mantle has now been passed on to the excellent Denzel Washington who can also enter and exit locked buildings with amazing ease, not unlike myself.
